Historical info[]

On 25 & 26 September 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres in Belgium not far from the sea coast, the British reached Kansas Cross, while the Australians reached Polygon Wood & Zonnebeke. Now the 1st and 2nd ANZAC Corp will be up against the new German units, the Eingreifdivisionen, to capture Broodseinde & Tyne Cottage on October 4. After weeks of rain, the battlefields are like swamps and the trenches are filled with water. The objectives are on or behind the Flandern I Stellung, a major German line in the Ypres Salient heavy armed with bunkers and deadly weapons. The new German units proved unsuccessful and the ANZACS have reached their objectives with heavy casualties.

Description[]

The map represents Allied assault over rough moon landscape and multiple lines of trenches and bunkers dug by Germans. Both sides have uncapturable bases, but Germans also control 6 out of 6 capturable flags. Any team have to hold any 4 flags to bleed the enemy. Germans have lot of static weapons including MGs, cannons and mortars, facing the empty frontline and effectively killing anyone trying to assault. Allies have Mark IV tank and Mark I Howitzer acting as spawn APC for attack, as well as some mortars and special kits.
